Numerical Analysis of Micro-Lens Array to the Mid-IR Range

New interferometric IR techniques have recently been developed to allow Sun-Jupiter-like detections in deep space. These demand a high angular resolution, sensitivity towards signal detection buried noise, and well-defined bandwidth of spectral resolution. Micro-lens arrangements helped increase the use these parameters for detectors. In this paper we present finite element method (FEM)-based simulation typical micro-lens array, be used mid-IR cameras, where aperture geometry radius curvature are varied design optimization. Moreover, show spot optical aberrations produced by two types geometrical arrangements. This procedure could helpful improving detector exoplanets exploration, systems placed outside earth’s atmosphere.
